Sarah Adriano, JD Intellectual Property Attorney

Sarah is currently the Managing Partner of Adriano & Associates. Sarah has extensive Intellectual Property law experience in prosecuting biotechnology patents successfully in the United States of America and other countries. Her practice focuses on biotechnology inventions that include immunology-related, recombinant gene-related and biochemistry-related discoveries for diagnostic and therapeutic use.

Before attending law school, Sarah was an immunology researcher at the Beckman Research Institute at the City of Hope. There she worked on the identification, isolation, and purification of the common acute lymphocyte leukemia antigen. Sarah began her patent law career at Cooper & Dunham, a New York City firm that specializes in intellectual property law. She has also worked at several other firms before becoming a partner at the intellectual property law firm of Merchant & Gould in Los Angeles, California. Sarah co-founded Mandel & Adriano in 1997.

Sarah received her B.A. in Biology from the University of Maine in Portland, Maine and obtained her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in San Diego, CA.
